Poesis

A Poet does not make, but finds
in All that is, a Maker's Mind.

this reminds me of things I am seeing in Echkart Tolle's book, which I am rereading. Without being in touch with being, we don't have poetry and things like religious scholarship, liturgy, preaching, icon painting, musical performances etc. they confirm an identification with Being before they can become themselves. They are not after the fact, but rather before the fact as well as confirming of the fact. but I guess I violated a cardinal rule here in talking too much about a poem and its meaning
